Speaker Bios > Colin Grieve
A fire fighter in Hamilton for 22 years, Colin is an occupational disease and WSIB worker advocate.
He worked hard on behalf of victims of the infamous Plastimat fire, arguing for recognition of occupational diseases in fire fighters before the WSIB.
He is a member of the research advisory council of the WSIB and the provincial joint occupational health prevention program with the WSIB and the Ministry of Labour.
Colin also serves on the Local Advisory Committee of the Occupational Health Clinic for Ontario Workers in Hamilton.
